Can't believe what I did!
As I am hair care obsessed, and have never felt comfortable coloring or highlighting my hair myself...I made the mistake of mistakes!:) Now, I know many, many people, including friends box color their hair regularly and look lovely! So, understand, despite training...I have always, always so disliked coloring, cutting (styling...well, yeah, I'll do that!)...the only people who have their hair cut by me are my babies!!! So, as spontaneous as I am as a person...I am NEVER spontaneous with my hair...boring??? Maybe, but that is simply my comfy zone:) So, I watched a vid. I posted, and couldn't believe my roots!!! Holy cow! Now, I have mentioned my hair is growing at a wicked pace...which is awesome, but I can't...for the health and MONEY, get my roots touched up every 3 weeks..YIKES! But, I saw this vid..and simply couldn't get over how awful my roots were!
So, I found an ammonia-free DIY box color at Sephora. I thought, this will work...tons of dimension, and free of damaging chemicals...how could I go wrong? Hmmm..?! Well, I DID! I was nervous, and bit the bullet. Followed directions, and 30 mins. elapsed. Rinse, dry.....ORANGE, GREEN and GOLD! AHHH! It actually made 2 of my babies cry cause I didn't look like Mommy anymore! Poor cookies!:)
I went back to my Florida stylist, and she was FLOORED! After hours and hours...all fixed..whew! But, my spontaneous decision lead to super DRY hair! Now the fun and messy part:) I am treating my hair and scalp with coconut oil, DO masque, Argan Oil...saturated, and lightly braided my hair. Sleeping on it, and hopefully it will be back to smooth, shiny hair tomorrow (and a massive laundry load of all my linens:) But, it will be worth it!:) Cross your fingers:) xoxo

Loving my Avocado, Mayo & Coconut Oil Hair Treatment, Right NOW!:)
I absolutely LOVE giving my hair some TLC on Sundays (well, everyday..:) but, as I type...I have Coconut Oil massaged all over my scalp, 1/4 Cup of Mayo, and an Avocado mashed (mixed the two) all over my head! Looking good, I'm telling you..LOL! But, all of these wonderful fats, nutrients, and more are moisturizing my hair (and SCALP...super important to keep your scalp healthy!). My head, or hair:), is wrapped in saran-wrap, and I am leaving it on for about an hour! Then shampoo, and condition (a bit) and follow with a rinse of 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar (smells horrible, but DOESN'T linger, and the shine is amazing!). Simply love looking in the kitchen, and treating my hair in an all natural and inexpensive way (can't beat that!) This will moisturize and hydrate like crazy! So, you look a little nuts...but, your hair will thank you for it! xx

Recipe for Home-Made Mask for Oily, Acne Prone Skin
Recipe for Home-Made Mask for Oily, Acne Prone SkinThis mask is AMAZING & costs next to NOTHING! Not to mention, all NATURAL! Strawberries are a natural source of Salicylic Acid (found in most OTC acne treatments). You can also use blueberries, blackberries or raspberries! Make a small batch as it is perishable. But, you can store it in the fridge for a few days:) Okay, here we go!
In a blender, mix 1/4 cup of your berries, with 1/4 cup of either plain yogurt or sour cream (I prefer yogurt:) & 1 Tablespoon of of cocoa powder. Blend to a nice paste. Apply to clean skin for about 15 minutes. **Avoid lips and eye areas!! Rinse with a gentle cloth and luke-warm water. You'll LOVE it!

HEALTHY HAIR! DERMORGANICS!!!
One word...DERMORGANICS! As most of you know, I am OBSESSED with hair care, and keeping my locks in the best, most healthy shape possible! I have shown that little green package...100 times or MORE:) Along with drinking water with 100% Organic Cold-Pressed (liquid) Flax-Seed Oil, and continuing to take my Pre-Natal Vitamins...I use the 3 Step System from Dermorganics..an all natural, packed full of Omegas, Vitamins, a natural Thermal Protectant and so much more!!! I even LOVE the Styling Mist as it serves as a fantastic setting spray for styling, but infuses your hair with omegas and more, only to PROTECT your precious LOCKS!:) It is a professional line, but you can find it on Amazon...and you WILL order it over and over again! ADDICTIVE, I'm telling you! It has kept my hair in incredible condition (which it wasn't before:(, and absolutely changed my hair to be the softest, most shiney and in the HEALTHIEST condition possible! And, this comes from a gal that uses hot-tools regularly and, yes, a processed blonde! Check them out..you will go NUTS!:) To begin, I would recommend the 3 step system...then you get addicted and go from there! xxx
